TDChristian High School will host a Sports Camp and an Improv Camp for elementary school students this summer. Both camps run August 24-28 from 9 am - 3:30 pm, here at the school and are open to everyone in grades 6, 7, 8, and 9. The camps are a lot of fun, and are particularly good for Grade 8 students who are entering TDChristian in the fall to make some new friends and get to know our athletics and drama programs. What a time for our drama teacher, Mr. Peters! Last Saturday, one of Mr. Peters' Improv Teams won first place in the Canadian Improv Games' Toronto Regionals. Then, late last week, Peters was announced as a finalist in the Arts category of the Rozema Awards for Teaching Excellence! This past weekend, TDChristian's two person Improv Team won gold at the Toronto Regionals of the Canadian Improv Games. What makes this win even more exciting is that it's the first time in 40 years of competition that a two-person team will go on to the nationals (most teams are made up of 8 players). Congratulations to students Nathan Lise and Elizabeth Parenteau for their stunning win, and to their coach and drama teacher, Mr. Peters. We'll be cheering Nathan and Elizabeth
