Video Block is a two-credit Grade 11 program emphasizing a team approach, where students develop problem-solving skills in order to complete video projects for school viewing and possible use outside of school. Largely through experience and practice, students learn how to plan, film, and edit thematic and live videos. The creation and development of a portfolio along with the creation and editing of videos are key summative elements of Block.
In addition, students learn to identify positive and negative uses of media. Christians must strive to be able creators as well as informed and incisive critics of media.
