In addition to offering a comprehensive selection of courses, Toronto District Christian High School offers many unique programs which represent ideas that are on the cutting edge of current educational and pedagogical theory. Its Block programs are particularly exciting and unique.

Block Programs

TDChristian's Block programs combine and integrate different courses into a common area of study. They create exciting opportunities for more contextual learning to happen as well as encouraging students to be active learners who use of the whole world as their classroom. Block programs span two class periods therefore allowing increased time for the creation and completion of authentic projects and activities. Students learn real life skills as they learn about the area of study. Currently, TDChristian offers an Environmental Block, a Video Block, a French/History Block and an International Block.
