Technology and computers are an integral part of education at Toronto District Christian High School. Students are taught computer skills and are required to use them for many class activities and assignments. Appropriate and responsible use of technology is not only taught explicitly but modelled by staff.
Classrooms are equipped with projectors, audio and video equipment, and interactive whiteboards. Video and digital cameras are available for students to sign out and use to create projects such as movie trailers, short films, and music videos. Computers equipped with movie-editing software are also available for student use. In total, the school has over 320 computers available for students, which means students always have access to a computer for schoolwork. Almost 90 computers span the length of the main hallways. Located on counters evoking the style of an Internet cafe, the computers may be used by students during class periods as well as outside of curriculum time.
WiFi Internet access is available throughout the entire school for student-owned portable devices.
