The dramatic arts program at Toronto District Christian High School is alive with the sounds of music, laughter, and terrific acting. Whether students are interested in developing their acting skills or supporting the cast in the areas of costumes, makeup, set design, sound, or lighting, the drama program has a place for them. There is one major drama production each year as well as several minor productions and an annual festival. The festival affords an opportunity to participate in workshops and compete with other Ontario high schools.
In the summer of 2007, a team of fifteen students, with their director and producer, brought Shakespeare's classic A Midsummer Night's Dream on a tour to China. The sixteen-day tour was the first of its kind and involved a number of performances.
